Per the current New York State and CDC Guidance, masks are not mandated in the indoor settings or Setting the Pace. Wearing a mask is a personal choice and one supported by the New York State Emergency Nurses Association (NYSENA). The rate of transmission remains high in New York.
We hope that any attendee, speaker, sponsor, vendor, or volunteer that is not feeling well or has a documented exposure to a confirmed positive person, will consider not attending this year. We strongly encourage all our supporters to seek full vaccination status.
NYSENA encourages individuals to consider getting tested prior to the conference. Please respect those that choose to wear a mask and observe those wishing to maintain distance from others while attending this special event.
