2024 Conference Overview
We are excited that we will be meeting again in Saratoga Springs, NY for our 2024 Setting the Pace conference. This in person conference gives us the opportunity to meet new people, renew old acquaintances and catch up on NYSENA activities. There will be a pre-conference session before the conference begins.
The pre-conference session will be on various trauma topics and will be held on April 24, 2024 from 12:30PM - 4:30 PM. The last session of our pre-conference will be a joint NYS ENA and ACEP presentation regarding violence in the Emergency Department.
On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the 2024 NYSENA Council meeting will be held from 6:30PM -9:00pm with dinner provided. Hear about various NYSENA committee accomplishments. At the conclusion of the council meeting, NYSENA will have an awards ceremony honoring richly deserving emergency nurses. The winners of the 2024 NYSENA research poster contest will be presented as well.
The conference begins on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Starting with “Breakfast with the Exhibitors” from 7:30AM- 9:30AM. The exhibitors will be with us throughout the day for breaks and lunch in the exhibit hall and will be available to sign your bingo cards when you visit them.
At the beginning of the conference, ENA leaders will give us an update on ENA state and national news. Throughout the conference, we will have regional and national speakers share their knowledge and expertise on a variety of topics.
Thursday evening brings us a chance to have fun at a “Viva Las Vegas” party starting at 6:00PM. Celebrate by enjoying a provided buffet dinner and dancing the night away! Put on your glitz and glamour (or not!) Is there a secret Elvis among us? The Viva Las Vegas party is free to all registrants. Guest registration for the party is $25.00, payable to NYSENA (see registration form).
Education sessions will begin again on Friday. In addition to the education sessions, don’t forget we will have the research poster presentations on the NYSENA website for your review. The poster presentations feature a scavenger hunt (with prizes).
Throughout the conference, we will be raffling various items, culminating on Friday at the close with a grand prize.
