Setting the Pace 2026 Conference Educational Incentive Program for First Time Emergency RN Attendees and Nursing Students

Each year New York State ENA offers conference Educational Incentive Program to first time emergency RN attendees and nursing students to attend Setting the Pace.

Emergency RN candidates must be a first time attendee to Setting the Pace Conference.

Nursing students candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program and interested in Emergency Nursing as a career.

Submissions must include a verifying letter of student status and ability to attend from a faculty member, and a one page summary of the students goals and reason for wanting to attend.

The 2026 Setting the Pace Conference will be held in Saratoga Springs, NY April 22-24, 2026.

All materials MUST be submitted by December 31, 2025.

New York State ENA September 11 Scholarship – Rescue Workers

Funding for these scholarships is made possible by the generosity of the New York ENA State Council and members through the New York ENA September 11 Endowment. These scholarships are not limited geographically and are awarded to rescue workers who are obtaining an associates or baccalaureate degree in nursing. Eligible rescue workers include pre-hospital care providers, firefighters, and police officers.

Requirements: Proof of acceptance into an accredited nursing program and proof of at least one year of pre-hospital work experience is required. Applicants do not need to be members of ENA but must provide a letter of reference from a current ENA member.

Number of Awards: 2 (Two)

Amount of Award: $2,500 each

New York Empire State Undergraduate State Challenge Scholarship

Funding for this scholarship is made possible by the generosity of the New York ENA State Council and members through the 2016 ENA Foundation State Fundraising Challenge. This scholarship is intended for current emergency nurses pursuing a higher level of education (RN to BSN).

Requirements: This scholarship is awarded to a nurse who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Applicants must be current registered nurses and meet all standard eligibility requirements.

Number of Awards: 2 (Two)

Amount of Award: $2,500 each
