New York State ENA September 11 Scholarship – Rescue Workers
Funding for these scholarships is made possible by the generosity of the New York ENA State Council and members through the New York ENA September 11 Endowment. These scholarships are not limited geographically and are awarded to rescue workers who are obtaining an associates or baccalaureate degree in nursing. Eligible rescue workers include pre-hospital care providers, firefighters, and police officers.
Requirements: Proof of acceptance into an accredited nursing program and proof of at least one year of pre-hospital work experience is required. Applicants do not need to be members of ENA but must provide a letter of reference from a current ENA member.
Number of Awards: 2 (Two)
Amount of Award: $2,500 each
